PV grid-connection solutions

Dedicated PV grid-connection circuit breakers are built on the KFM3X / KFM3XE / KFM3XL platforms with a PV-specific undervoltage release module and electric operating mechanism — helping ensure safe distributed-PV grid connection.

How the scheme works

  • Undervoltage trip between 70% and 20% of rated control voltage.
  • Loss-of-voltage trip when voltage falls below 20% Un — the breaker opens reliably.
  • Overvoltage protection: the release acts above 135% Un and opens the breaker.
  • With the electric mechanism, automatic closing on detection of restored voltage.
  • Trip delay adjustable 0–10 s in 1 s steps (9 s excluded).
  • Control voltage: 50 Hz AC 230 V / AC 400 V.
